Rental of equipment for Thermofusion and Electrofusion of Polyethylene Pipes For an integral solution, we offer the service of hot melting of Polyethylene Pipes. Thermofusion and electrofusion are simple and fast welding methods, to join polyethylene pipes.
The Thermofusion is a simple and quick method of welding for joining polyethylene pipes and accessories. The surface of the parts to be joined are heated to melting temperature and are joined by application of pressure, with mechanical or hydraulic action according to pipe size and without using additional connecting elements.
Suitable for joining pipes of the same or / thickness ratio, with diameters from 32 mm to 630 mm.
This technique produces a permanent and effective union, and is economical.
The surfaces to be welded must be compressed against the thermoelement with a force that is proportional to the diameter of the pipe and then it must be reduced to a determined value of pressure, in order that the faces absorb the heat necessary for the polyfusion. This decrease causes the formation of a regular bead around the circumference, which is directly related to the thickness of the tube.
To achieve proper welding Thermofusion must consider the following factors:
• Heat of fusion
• Pressure proper fusion
• Melting Rate
• Pressure cooling
• correct temperature thermocouple
adequate room temperature using suitable heating times and cooling
proper alignment avoid contact with dirt, oils and waste
